Job HighlightsContract: Independent Contractor
Schedule:
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 9am - 6pm UK time (8 paid hours per day), or
- Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - 4 paid hours per day
- Must include Friday availability
- Direct reporting to Finance Manager
- Supporting finance operations across multiple international offices
- Handling confidential financial information for luxury brand clients
- Potential for increased hours as company grows
- Process and manage purchase invoices in Xero accounting system
- Handle daily expense management through Pleo platform
- Process team expense receipts and verify proper tax allocation
- Manage purchase ledger and supplier invoice processing
- Support team members with expense submissions
- Work with team members to ensure all costs are supported by invoices
- Assist with budget closures
- Maintain Excel-based financial tracking systems
- Process vendor documentation
- Provide coverage for finance operations on Fridays
Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with Xero is a must
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Proven experience in basic accounting and data entry
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Experience working with UK-based companies preferred
- Availability to work UK business hours, especially Fridays
- Experience with expense management systems
