Financial controller

• Ensure timely & accurate preparation of accounting information to enable statutory accounts to be smoothly signed off by the auditors; timely & meet ASAT requirements.
• Keep contact with the Central Tax office and give them the necessary information and ensure the function is carried out and compliance with Howmet.
• Guide the monthly reporting process to ensure figures are timely; accurate; understandable.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Discuss/explain figures to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate the internal and external audits.
• Conduct the monthly closing and report to the BU and Köfém.
• Management of the Finance team.
• Monitoring, measuring, and developing the performance of the finance group, implementing corrective measures if necessary.
• Periodic "Follow up" of subordinates: personal review of subordinates, determination of priorities, overview of ongoing tasks and projects of subordinates, assistance, feedback on subordinate's behavior / performance.
• Participation in daily/weekly/monthly Lead Team meetings, in making decisions within the competence of the Lead Team.
• Participation and representation of the finance and supply group at the relevant senior management meetings.
• Reporting to senior management on the group's performance.
• Work closely with supply team to attain consumable cost reduction.

• University degree in Finance or Economy
• Excellent command of the verbal and written English and Hungarian
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Oracle)
• Strategic thinker with commercial awareness
• Relevant experience at same field
