Job Description

  • Design and manage highly efficient container registry platforms as a backbone for future Kubernetes deployments.
  • Maintain Kubernetes clusters in on-premise environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate on definition and development of CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment of internal components - using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or similar.
  • Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot registry components, applications, and services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement security best practices for Kubernetes environments, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and secrets management.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps best practices, including version control, testing, and release management.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding
  • Some travel activities (e.g. for kick-offs, project meetings) may be needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Kubernetes on-premise implementations.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, container orchestration with Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in English Language, both oral and written.
