Physical Therapist Assistant

Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the implementation of treatment plans and provide support to patients during their rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist

- Provide support to patients during their rehabilitation process

- Monitor and document patient progress

- Educate patients on exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength

- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use

- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

- Communicate with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and any changes in treatment plans

Requirements:

- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field

- State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and exercises

- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

- Familiarity with physical therapy equipment and techniques
