The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments, and individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries.Morgan Stanley is looking to hire a Service Delivery Manager in Hong Kong.Key Responsibilities Create a detailed execution plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete deliveryAssist in determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the deliveryDevelop, manage and track to an established (and agreed) schedule while effectively allocating resources to the activitiesIdentify, assess and escalate issues in order to minimize potential project risksReview the project schedule with management, technical teams, and all other staff that will be affected by the project activitiesDocument project activities to ensure that all information is appropriately recorded- Provide weekly status reporting internally and externally as requiredVendor liaisonWork over weekend when necessary Skills Required Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientationAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingAbility to distill and present information to business community in non-technical terminologyBusiness analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutionsAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage operational lifecycleFlexibly adapt to a changing environment- Seven plus years of Voice and Data Network Technologies, Datacenter buildout related experience What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
- Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
- Good team player and role model
- Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to distill and present information to business community in non-technical terminology
- Business analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage operational lifecycle
- Flexibly adapt to a changing environment- Seven plus years of Voice and Data Network Technologies, Datacenter buildout related experience
