About the Role
The Revenue Accounting Manager is a key role responsible for accounts receivable and a range of business support responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you need to be confident, a strong communicator and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the work done. You have good problem solving skills and can grasp the ins and outs of the business within a short period of time.Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, this role manages a small team of 3, works closely with internal stakeholders and have regular interactions with key customers. This is a dynamic and varied role that covers a broad remit which includes accounts receivables, sales commissions, process improvements, contract approvals and customers' experience. Our 'customer first" ethos means you will partner sales and customers to accelerate cash flow and improve performance across the board.

Your background in a similar role that manages the whole set of payment collection procedures and undertake other business coordination activities to meet company's goals is of significant interest.

Our request is that you come into the office regularly to be familiar with the requirements, expectations and deliverables of this position. A hybrid arrangement of WFH is possible for the right candidate after you have demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
Daily/Monthly Operations
- Oversee billing collections, invoice posting and month-end close activities
- Ensure service billing, collections and general ledger entries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Managing sales support function to ensure orders are accurate, delivered on time and meet customer expectations
- Review the AR ageing report and apply invoices and credits promptly
- Understanding sales commission structure and their calculation
- Analyze financial data and produce monthly journal entries, supporting schedules and balance sheet reconciliations
- Mentor and develop a small finance team to meet performance targets
- Collaborate with sales support to verify order accuracy, delivery timelines and customer expectations
- Handle escalated customer enquiries and maintain strong client relationships
- Support the implementation of the new ERP Microsoft Business Central
- Identify, propose and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency
- Generate reporting on sales, rebates and profitability to guide business decisions
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Finance, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a similar role
- CPA / CA qualified is of significant interest
- Experience in manufacturing industry
- At least 5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivables and reporting
- At least 3 years’ experience managing in a People Leader managing a small team
- Strong time management skills, hands-on and a self-starter
- Demonstrated commercial and business acumen
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Super user of accounting products
- Knowledge and use of Business Central (BC)
- Reckon / Quickbooks accounting package experience is helpful
