We are a full-service management consulting firm with broad sector presence, with our health and higher education practices in Canada experiencing exceptional growth and impact. Our Vancouver office is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for skilled consultants to help shape its future and strategic direction. 

A snapshot of the work we do:

  • Evaluated the Alberta Academic Medicine and Health Services Program (AMHSP) which supports the attraction and retention of the best and brightest people to academic medicine through the key pillars of research, innovation, education and leadership.
  • Designed, evaluated and supported the implementation of improvements to the primary health care system at the provincial, regional and community health centre/clinic level in Ontario, Alberta, BC and across various Maritime provinces.
  • Developed a ten-year health workforce plan to develop a diverse and future ready workforce (including rural and remote communities)
  • Reviewed Resident Physician experiences to support improvements to learning and wellbeing outcomes among those Residents and enhanced models of care, rostering and workforce planning to improve physician experience, access, patient outcomes and health system sustainability
  • Conducted a clinical governance review for a provincial emergency services provider to support the delivery of high-quality services.​
  • Undertook detailed analysis of the nursing placement process to identify opportunities to improve outcomes and enhance user experiences.​
  • Designed an evidence-informed provincial perinatal framework to co-ordinate perinatal healthcare and improve service delivery.​

We are looking for Managers with healthcare experience to join our team.

As a Manager, you will contribute significantly to the design and structure of project content, critically distilling and translating complex and multifaceted data into recommendations, and managing small to medium sized projects. You’ll work across a range of teams to establish and deliver projects across strategy, public policy, organizational capability and development, transformational change, and digital strategy. Your role will include engaging clients and their stakeholders, undertaking quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and preparing deliverables across a range of formats that distil analysis into clear and compelling recommendations for clients. This role includes managing small- to medium-sized projects, developing and managing relationships with clients, providing thought leadership, supporting and enabling high-achieving project teams, and actively developing the capability of your colleagues.

You are: 

  • Passionate and driven about doing work that matters and creates positive influence, in an environment that values diversity and thrives on creativity
  • Resilient; Solving complex problems is hard work. You will need to be resilient as you balance the various different pressures our clients face when deciding what changes can be made and how to get the most value quickly from them. Understanding and engaging with people and content will be key
  • Innovative; develop and share IP through projects, teams and practice groups to enhance our existing methods and frameworks
  • Collaborative; You bring energy and enthusiasm for collaborating with others throughout the project design and delivery process
  • Knowledgeable in provincial/territorial and national health system policies, structures, funding mechanisms and models of care.

And the practical experience:

  • 5+ years of work experience in a professional environment
  • Proven experience and expertise within the Canadian healthcare sector
  • Strong analytical skills and the capacity to interpret qualitative and quantitative data
  • The capability to think, articulate and write logically
  • Strong problem solving ability applied in a structured way.
