Family Liaison

Description

The Family Liaison has an important role that maintains a line of communication between client’s families and Isaiah House. This person builds relationships with clients’ families and conveys information to the family relevant to the treatment of the clients.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with adults in recovery and/or substance abuse, alcohol addiction

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Valid driver’s license with clear driving history

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

• Proactively communicate program changes between client families and Isaiah House providers and client support.

• Update client logs, rosters and information related to client transitions and progress in KIPU

• Schedule and coordinate clients for on/off-site family visits as approved by clinicians.

• Support all retention efforts to ensure client success.

• Communicate with clinical teams regarding client concerns or needs.

• Monitor all incoming and outgoing client mail and care packages.

• Other duties as assigned
