The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Workplace Manager, Australia to join our Sydney office on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a busy and pivotal role where you’ll help shape our daily office operations ensuring our people, spaces, and systems are well-supported and running smoothly.
You’ll lead a variety of property and facilities initiatives, including office moves, refurbishments, vendor coordination, and compliance with local building regulations.
You’ll also work closely with our central support teams to uplift processes across operations, risk, environmental management, travel, and health and safety. It will involve guiding staff on best practices and ensuring they have the tools and training they need to succeed.
You'll build strong, trusted relationships with staff, partners, and heads of business, ensuring their needs are understood and met through responsive, high-quality workplace support.
As Workplace Manager, Australia, you’ll report to the Head of Facilities, APAC, and oversee a team of Office Coordinators and Client Services Assistances across three locations.
The Candidate
To be successful in role this, you will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilities or workplace management or a similar role, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering change.
- Strong procurement and commercial management capabilities.
- A collaborative mindset with confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Experience in a top-tier corporate or professional services environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management systems such as Condeco (or similar).
- Resilience and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
