Human Resources Coordinator

At The Landmark Resort, our Human Resource Coordinator helps shape the employee experience. From onboarding to offboarding, benefit updates to policy implementation, this role ensures that every interaction with HR is clear, consistent, and handled with care and respect. Often serving as the first point of contact for new hires and a trusted resource for current team members – the coordinator plays a vital role in how our employees engage within the workplace. 

This position is instrumental within our evolving HR team and ideal for someone who values both process and people, and brings professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail to everything they do. 

What You’ll Bring to The Team

• A welcoming and professional presence — approachable, responsive, and composed
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across onboarding, benefits, employee documentation, and compliance
• Familiarity with HR systems and tools (Paylocity or similar platforms is a plus)
• Experience or confidence in tasks such as file management, PTO audits, I-9 compliance, policy rollouts, and employee recognition programs
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive matters
• A collaborative mindset — you take pride in being a trusted support for both employees and leadership
• An awareness that every system, update, and checklist ultimately impacts the employee experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and focus
• Previous experience in Human Resources preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred, but not required
