Post Production Coordinator

Description

The Post Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all post-production processes from media ingest to mastering and final delivery. As a Video Post Production Coordinator for the MeatEater brand, you will join a team that tackles everything from short-form documentary-style edits to long-form content to social media videos. This role requires a highly organized person to manage post-production workflows, maintain schedules and oversee a talented team of in-house and freelance editors, ensuring that all deliverables meet our creative and technical standards. This role requires an unwavering attention to detail and an inherent ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Requirements

• Create and maintain post-production schedules
• Manage and organize network, field, and shuttle storage
• Organize and archive all media, projects, and outputs in a safe, timely, organized, and future-proofed manner
• Screen edits, collect feedback, and revise edits as needed
• Ensure all deliverables meet creative, technical, and legal requirements
• Coordinate delivery of content to FAST, AVOD, and linear partners
• Continually work to create, train staff on, and institute improved post-production processes
• Other duties as beneficial to MeatEater

Experience

• 4+  years of Post Production Experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills 

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Premiere and Media Encoder
• Proficient with Davinci Resolve and color space management in the post process
• Proficient with LTO (StorageDNA) and media management for project archiving
• Familiar with editorial workflows from media ingest through master delivery, both for long form and short form content
• Willingness to troubleshoot and solve technical issues, with both software and hardware
• Comfortable, working with content about hunting, fishing, and conservation, interest in hunting a plus
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
