Marina Maintenance Technician

Our team at Baybridge Marina in Stevensville, MD is looking for a seasoned maintenance tech/handyman to help with our daily operations. This will be a full-time opportunity with great benefits and the opportunity to join our team. 

The right candidate will possess the ability to perform the following: 

General Repairs: 

Performing regular inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair some mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other issues as they arise. 

Light carpentry, fixture, deck and other repairs as necessary. 

Troubleshoot maintenance issues and effectively communicate to leadership in order to execute a plan to solve issues.

Use of Tools and Equipment: 

Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools. 

Safety: 

Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair
• Organization: Dealing with incoming work requests, maintaining any record or logs for maintenance and repair work.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures. 
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems effectively. 
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in maintenance and repair work. 

Candidates will need to possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation.

Successful completion of a background check is required for employment.

Marina experience a plus but not required.
