OVERVIEW: The Multimedia Coordinator supports MarineMax stores by creating videos and photos for online listings, sales and internal use. This person should be a creative storyteller who’s skilled in shooting and editing video, taking photos, setting up lighting and sound, and creating motion graphics. They’ll work mostly on location at MarineMax stores.

Must have a full understanding of marketing, project management, and how to use digital tools. Day-to-day work includes planning and producing videos, editing content, designing graphics, and solving creative challenges to bring ideas to life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for photographing in-stock boat inventory at stores to be used for inventory listings on MarineMax.com, on social media and other promotional outlets.
  • Responsible for filming and editing walkthrough/tour style videos of in-stock boat inventory at stores to be used for inventory listings on Marinemax.com, on social media and other promotional outlets.
  • Responsible for both filming and photographing content that can be utilized on store social media accounts to promote inventory, events, the store, team and more.
  • Responsible for creation of videos and motion graphics for marketing/advertising and online. (Projects could include customer and employee testimonials, informational videos/animation, vlogs, tutorials, etc.)
  • Capturing video and/or stills both in store and on-water environments
  • Cataloging and organizing footage.
  • Work independently, but meet deadlines and deliverables in a timely, professional manner.
  • Editing videos until desired specifications are met then delivering through various channels.
  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships across functional areas and management.
  • In addition to inventory video, generative creative video content with an upscale/premium approach while adhering to MarineMax branding guidelines.
  • Other duties as directed.

SKILLS: 

  • 2-4years of video production and photography experience.
  • Knowledge of videography, photography, lighting in studio and on-location environments.
  • Able to take creative direction, collaborate and communicate with marketing, sales, HR and other departments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects.
  • Presentation skills for audiences at all levels.
  • Professional and collaborative mindset.

  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and pressure.

  • Ability to storyboard, develop and conceptualize creative projects
  • Budgeting for any and all production expenses
  • Experience with Multimedia and Web Tools:
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud with an emphasis in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Microsoft Office Proficient
  • Microsoft Sharepoint Proficient
  • Mac and PC Proficient
  • Proficiency in social media marketing, including but not limited to: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc., while working within brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
  • Understanding of Google AdWords and Analytics
  • Basecamp experience preferred

KEY RESULT AREAS: 

  • Generate exposure for MarineMax in an online and print environment through the use of photography and videography.
  • Nurture relationships between the customer and MarineMax by attending and documenting Boat Shows, Getaways etc.
  • Provide Web Content manager and Marketing team with original, dynamic photo and video content that can be used to generate traffic and interaction with customers.
  • Provide the internal MarineMax team with training materials and ways to generate their own content in order to assist the customer decision-making process when buying from their store or broker.
  • Build the MarineMax online social presence via applications that require engaging content and interaction (i.e. YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram).???
  • Document the store, team members, and products, and how it pertains to a positive experience for the customer (what services do the stores offer, who are the professionals and why they are the ones to do business with).
  • Boost company morale by providing photography and videography at team member events.
