Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

The Faculty of Law is currently seeking a Programme Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, 13 months fixed-term position with the main purpose of providing administrative support for student and academic related administrative processes.

Some other key responsibilities include:

  • Support results submission for individually assessed courses, including Honours dissertations and community placement/internship results
  • Provide administrative support for postgraduate courses, including results submission
  • Administer the record-keeping for the Advanced Legal Research (LAW 498) course
  • Coordinate with external bodies (New Zealand Council of Legal Education and the Law Society)
  • Support the Group Services Manager to administer the academic misconduct process
  • Provide support or undertake other allocated general administration duties, as required, by the Group Services Manager

Remuneration:  $55,300 - $69,600 (depending on level of experience)

This is a full- time, fixed term (37.5 hours per week) opportunity

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent gained through relevant experience
  • 2 to 3 years' experience delivering high quality administrative support
  • Experience of working with and understanding the needs of a diverse range of clients
  • Experience of working effectively in a team setting AND working independently with sole responsibility for coordinating an end-to-end process/activity
