Description
We’re seeking a sharp-minded and experienced VP of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships to lead the development and execution of growth initiatives at Pango. In this high-impact role, you’ll be an essential key member of Pango’s executive leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategy and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead Pango’s business growth strategy and identify new revenue opportunities and partnerships
- Drive incremental revenue through partner products and strategic collaborations
- Build and manage relationships with municipalities, enterprise clients, vendors, and key partners
- Lead partner negotiations and secure deals with clear goals, terms, and revenue models
- Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies for new services and verticals (mobility, loyalty, fintech)
- Oversee partnership performance, tracking KPIs and ensuring revenue and business impact
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Tech, Finance) to support execution and service delivery
- Own P&L for business units, managing budgets and optimizing resources
- Lead and mentor business development and operations teams
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or alliances roles, preferably within the tech sector.
- Proven track record in deal-making, driving revenue growth through partnerships & alliances, and leading cross-functional projects.
- Experience working across both B2B and B2C models; background in app-based services or SaaS is a strong plus
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing budgets and business units
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Ability to lead in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Experience in mobility, parking, or transportation sectors is an advantage
