Baird is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join Baird’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) Research team. In addition to providing administrative support to the Research team, the Research Information Coordinator will be responsible for managing and organizing research data, assisting with the preparation and distribution of investment materials, and supporting broader department initiatives. This role requires an individual with strong computer skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to balance collaborative work with self-directed projects.
As a Research Information Coordinator, you will:
- Manage and maintain research databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate the collection, entry, and distribution of research information.
- Prepare and format reports, presentations, and other investment materials using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Collaborate with analysts and other team members to improve processes and methodologies.
- Provide administrative support to the research team as needed, including:
- Scheduling and organizing meetings, team calls, etc.
- Coordinating with the Conference Center team to reserve conference rooms and catering for internal and external meetings, events, etc.
- Assisting analysts with travel and expense reporting, as applicable.
- Maintaining and updating distribution lists.
- Support business continuity efforts within the broader organization.

What we look for:
- High school diploma or education equivalent required.
- 3+ years of proven administrative experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in both a team environment and on a self-directed basis.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
