As a Luxury Hotel Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring all needs are handled with discretion, care, and professionalism. You will assist with luggage, deliver packages, maintain a pristine environment, and support both the front office and concierge teams to uphold a five-star guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage handling and ensure proper delivery to and from guest rooms or vehicles.
• Escort guests to rooms, explain room features and hotel facilities.
• Deliver packages, amenities, and other items to guest rooms in a timely and discreet manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and exterior areas through regular sweeping and cleanup.
• Support valet or transportation services when required.
• Coordinate with concierge and front desk for guest transportation, bookings, and special requests.
• Offer assistance, directions, and local information to guests with courteous and knowledgeable service.
• Safely handle and store guest luggage in compliance with hotel policies.
• Proactively respond to guest needs and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate department.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a luxury or five-star hotel preferred.
• Professional appearance and impeccable grooming.
• Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit – able to lift heavy luggage and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Desirable Qualities:
• Familiarity with hotel service standards and VIP protocol.
• Knowledge of local area attractions, restaurants, and transportation.
• Experience with hotel management and package tracking systems.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a polished and composed presence.
