About the role

This position will focus on the product portfolio and join in the China growth initiative kicked off. The new team member will also help with fab offloads from a field/customer facing perspective.

What you will do

Portfolio management

  • Responsible for the product portfolio (management of the product life cycle), including roadmap, cost down and related PCN drive, Marketing Plan (4P’s) and positioning

  • Create product launch, market introduction and business cases of new products

  • Provide and initiate content for Marcom material, activities and datasheet

Business planning and fulfilment

  • Contribute to further development of the product group business plan and the input to S&OP (for newly released types)

  • Drive business plan execution and ensure business case fulfilment

Regional Sales & Marketing support

  • Promote newly launched products

  • Be the 2nd level support regarding product features, documentation, product-related customer requests and sales training

Pricing

  • Responsible for bottom line stop prices; initial price setting and positioning; maintaining stop prices together with Commercial Mkt

  • Support the price policy when it’s necessary

Market investigation and research

  • Competitor (portfolio) analysis and benchmarking

  • Technology and application trend analysis

  • Market investigations; early identification of opportunities and threats

The interface between marketing and all other departments of the Product Group

  • Interface to GMM, AMM, Commercial Marketing and development for new product development (projects); contribute to the regular PtMA (Product to Market Alignment) meeting

  • Interface to logistics and industrial for new type generation and volume ramp up to F&A for cost calculation, price upload and maintenance of internal product databases and system content

  • Interface to PDcoding & MISD, e.g. for registration of new types

What you will need

Hard Skills:

  • Either a technical (engineering or physics) master’s degree or a technical & business administration/economics master’s degree

  • At least 3 years of professional marketing, product management or application engineering experience in the semiconductor industry

  • Semiconductor device physics and electrical engineering knowledge

  • Basic understanding of electronic hardware design blocks

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Excellent analytical skills and structured work approach

  • Highly self-motivated and team-oriented attitude

  • Entrepreneurial approach

  • Strong customer focus and service orientation

  • Intercultural awareness and ability to work in international teams
