Senior Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for switching and routing issues.
• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level Cisco network infrastructures (LAN/WAN).
• Manage Layer 3 protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, and MPLS.
• Conduct proactive network performance monitoring, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors during network outages or planned changes.
• Perform configuration backups, software upgrades, and patch management.
• Maintain accurate network documentation (topology diagrams, IP schemas, device inventory).
• Participate in network-related projects such as migrations, redesigns, and new deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational policies (NAC, ACLs, AAA, SNMP, etc.).
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance for escalated incidents.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications: CCNP (Enterprise or R&S) required; CCIE is a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching in a large enterprise.
