MAS Matrix, is a diversified flat-knit apparel manufacturing facility under MAS Holdings. Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria's Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to resolving production issue to ensure corrective action as a Senior Executive Industrial Engineering. The task involves identifying bottlenecks, selecting low-performing operators, conducting time, capacity, and production studies to improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify bottlenecks, select low performing Operators whilst, carrying out time, capacity and production studies in order to enhance efficiencies thereby, improving productivity
Prepare the skill development plan for Operators and follow-up to ensure the required skill levels are achieved whilst, getting involved in Star grading system and verify Team Members skills for star grading
Ensure adherence to organizational standards such as, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S in day-to-day activities whilst, leading Lean initiatives
Prepare Machine requirements (approximate) one month before according to the finalized layout and Method Study feedback, and communicate to the Mechanical department
Recheck and confirm operation breakdown and thread consumption whilst, identifying required special attachments
Participate in Pre-Production meetings and communicate about thread consumption, labor requirements, pre-setting requirements and pre-training requirements
Select Team Members for the lay out, with Team Leader for optimum use of skills and to ensure that the selected Team Members are multi-skilled
Conduct a lay out review by stimulating the layout with relevant Team Leaders, Method Study team and Mechanics
Analyze line performance against calculated Standard Minute Values whilst, re-balancing lines to optimize the output
Improve handling methods and work-place arrangements
Organize on the job training programs on a weekly basis by coordinating with the Executives and identify operators who face any technical related issues thereby directing them to relevant training school instructors to obtain necessary skills and knowledge
Allocate relevant, new resources from the training school, skill bank for layout changes, skill gap identifications, and follow up on the performance of same whilst evaluating, track the efficiency level

Knowledge and Skills:

Degree in Physical Science from recognized university
Minimum of 3 -4 years’ experience in similar discipline
Knowledge in work study would be an added advantage
Strong analytical skills
