Assistant Manager – Planning

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to assist the planning manager to oversee all aspects of capacity planning and ensure optimum utilization of SBU level capacities in order to achieve divisional objectives and thereby meet customer expectations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all planning activities relevant to the manufacturing location to ensure maximum capacity utilization as per targets
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure that manufacturing plans are feasible and aligned to organizational goals and to provide guidance in resolving disruptions in the planning processes
- Attend relevant meetings to identify solutions and provide feedback to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned to optimize capacity
- Foresee medium and long term SBU level capacities required to ensure a smooth order flow, identify potential resources gaps and bring it to the next level for options.
- Regularly create, maintain and review reports on planning tools to drive effective short, medium and long-term capacity utilization decisions'
- Make sure the development of the team by aligning with the succession planning process. '
- Work with BD and plant teams to create the plan stability in terms of minimizing the disturbances for the needle point
- Making sure the customer satisfaction through on time delivery while maintaining the acceptable RM stocks to support the business.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Mathematics or Statistics
- 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills
