About the role

We are seeking skilled and experienced Business Tester to join our team and contribute to the successful deployment of various Enterprise Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business logic testing and audit domain knowledge.This role requires critical thinking, strong documentation skills, and effective collaboration with the team.

Roles & responsibilities

•Perform thorough testing of business logic within various applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements. •Demonstrate strong documentation skills to document notes, exceptions, and address comments/review notes from internal and external reviewers. •Collaborate effectively with the team to meet stipulated deadlines and ensure a smooth testing process. •Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with development teams. •Ensure the quality and reliability of the applications by conducting rigorous testing and validation processes.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

•Experience in software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts. •Functional testing and good knowledge of software development life cycle. •Experience in defect creation & bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). •Excellent documentation skills. •Excellent knowledge of audit/Accounting concepts. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders.

Preferred technical & functional skills

•Experience with the KPMG Clara workflow or any other enterprise solutions on previous audit engagements. •Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE). •Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications

•Bachelor's/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field •Should have good understanding of accounting / auditing concepts as well as experience of Data Analytics/software testing concepts.

Work experience

•2-3 years of work experience in relevant discipline •Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing domain. GDC experience of  2-3 years is preferred .
