This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Auckland, New Zealand time)
Total Weekly Hours: 10–15 hours
Responsibilities
Manage payables, receivables, and daily bank reconciliations in Xero
Prepare and process payroll
Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and cost analysis
Coordinate local and international payments, as well as online transactions
Liaise with the bank, external accountant, and freight forwarders
Assist with GST returns and IRD compliance
Maintain stock accuracy in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager
Support trade finance and seasonal product planning
Handle ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Experience in accounting, finance, or operations support
Proficiency in Xero and payroll processing
Strong understanding of budgeting, cash flow, and payment systems
Familiarity with stock control, freight logistics, and seasonal workflows
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Experience with trade finance or working with external accountants is a plus
