This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Auckland, New Zealand time)

Total Weekly Hours: 10–15 hours



Responsibilities
  • Manage payables, receivables, and daily bank reconciliations in Xero

  • Prepare and process payroll

  • Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and cost analysis

  • Coordinate local and international payments, as well as online transactions

  • Liaise with the bank, external accountant, and freight forwarders

  • Assist with GST returns and IRD compliance

  • Maintain stock accuracy in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager

  • Support trade finance and seasonal product planning

  • Handle ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed



Requirements
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or operations support

  • Proficiency in Xero and payroll processing

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cash flow, and payment systems

  • Familiarity with stock control, freight logistics, and seasonal workflows

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Experience with trade finance or working with external accountants is a plus
