SummaryThe Financial Analyst will provide direct support to senior management through in-depth analysis of cost center spending, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital expenditures, headcount trends, and ad-hoc financial projects as needed.

Minimum RequirementsCombination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.Education: Bachelor’s DegreeEducation Details: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics and/or other related field is preferred.Years of Experience: Entry-level role suited for candidates with a strong interest in the airline or transportation industry.
Preferred Requirements•Strong technical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SAP, Ariba, and SQL.•Experience building business models in Excel that use logical assumptions to forecast.•Excellent critical thinker and effective problem solver with creative solutions.•Detail oriented and highly organized.•Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior management.•Ability to work on ambiguous projects without requiring specific direction and supervision.
Job Duties•Analyze financial and operational results to uncover trends, highlight potential risks and/or opportunities, and provide data-backed recommendations to senior management.•Work with department leaders to understand key expense drivers in order to enhance financial modeling and forecast accuracy. •Analyze data to explain trends and variances from budget and forecast.•Partner with department leadership to create comprehensive business cases for investment decisions, presenting the financial impact, associated risks, and alternative solutions to senior management.•Work with cross-functional groups in a collaborative environment.•Manage time effectively to meet timelines across multiple projects.•Other duties as assigned.

Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
