Salary Description Full-time salary range $53,000-$58,000.
About the Department:
The Office of the Registrar maintains the accuracy, privacy, and security of all student academic records. It is the only office authorized to issue transcripts, enrollment verification, and degree certifications, and it serves as the primary information resource for the students and faculty regarding academic policies and procedures. The Office of the Registrar also maintains the college division course schedule, assigns teaching studios, schedules placement exams and juries, records grades, performs degree audits, and maintains the online catalog. Along with Academic affairs, the Registrar’s staff provides academic advisement to all college division students.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manages Registrar’s Office information posted on the Juilliard Website, Intranet, bulletin boards, and LCD screens.
- Maintains Office of the Registrar’s e-mail account. Distributes post mail and manages office supplies. Answers and screens all telephone calls.
- Assists faculty, students, and staff at counter. Answers questions and offers directions to relevant electronic forms and apps.
- Responsible for keeping current electronic student records up-to-date. Helps with archiving electronic files for alumni.
- Assists in data-entry projects including pre-registration.
- Coordinates meetings for the Registrar and Associate Registrar and assists with academic advising during the registration periods.
- Coordinates production of course schedule and updates all changes and assists with scheduling ad hoc room reservation requests.
- Assists and backs up Assistant Registrar’s as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an office.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with faculty, staff, administrators, and students.
- Strong computer skills, knowledge data base systems, Microsoft office, excel spreadsheets, communication, and presentation software.
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing student privacy (FERPA) and records administration and retention.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
- Understanding of and commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and the mission of The Juilliard School.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in higher education and conservatory curriculum.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud or PeopleSoft educational database systems.
