Job Description
The Director of Brand Partnerships will help to execute the GTM vision for Brand monetization and Sponsorship Opportunities for select brands from the NBCU and Versant portfolio. This position will report to the designated Vice President of Brand Partnerships, and collaborate cross-functionally within all facets of Ad Sales, Enterprise Marketing and Communications Team (Development, Sales Enablement/Trade, Commerce, Creative, Communications, Enterprise, COE), Network Leadership, Events, Finance, Planning, Research, Business Affairs, Legal etc.
- Partner with the Vice President, Peacock Brand Partnerships to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for sponsorship and emerging formats to drive revenue growth for Peacock.
- Collaborate with development, platform, and product teams to integrate Peacock advertising capabilities, audience solutions, social extensions, and emerging formats into sponsorship packages.
- Serve as the ad sales Peacock Brand cross functional lead for Peacock.
- Own the rollout of sponsorship opportunities and sales narratives across the organization via the channels inclusive of Double Scoop, ensuring sellers have the tools, training, materials, and strategic guidance needed to maximize revenue.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Account Directors, Client Partnership teams, Strategy and EM+C to identify marketplace demand, customize opportunities, and accelerate deal conversion.
- Manage sponsorship pipelines, renewal strategies, category exclusivities, and incumbent partner relationships across assigned franchises.
- Monitor revenue performance and proactively identify opportunities to expand sponsorship inventory, develop new monetization models, and unlock incremental revenue streams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic consultant to the broader Ad Sales organization on assigned brands, franchises, and partnership opportunities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of streaming and emerging competitive marketplace dynamics, and client priorities to identify whitespace opportunities and inform sponsorship strategy.
- Support organizational initiatives, including sales communications, franchise prioritization, sponsorship governance, and portfolio planning through participation in leadership forums as owner of Peacock Steering Committee.
- Act as the senior Brand Partnerships representative for assigned business lines, providing leadership, decision-making support, and stakeholder management when the Vice President is unavailable.
Qualifications
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong understanding of the advertising marketplace across various platforms
- Experience in media marketing and the advertising sales process
- Understanding of B2B branding development, strategy, tactics and execution
- Strong interpersonal skills (i.e., the ability to interact with all levels of management and the ability to lead and motivate and influence both internal and external teams)
- Self-Starter with strong organizational, project & management skills
- A detail-oriented individual with the ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment on multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Meticulous, with a keen eye for detail and organization
- Highly innovative with positive energy & flexible attitude
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week, Monday-Thursday.
Salary range: $125,000 - $160,000 (sales incentive compensation & long-term incentive eligible)
