Job Description
- Handle all telephone enquiries in a polite and helpful manner.
- To provide a high level of Customer Service in all customer contact situations, recognising the company’s Customer Service standards and your opportunity to deliver total customer satisfaction.
- Take bookings and explain rental terms and conditions to customers.
- Carry out instructions/procedures as requested by Senior Management.
- Adhere to Self-Drive Hire Insurance terms and conditions.
- To accurately complete all rental administration and vehicle documentation according to the Company’s Operating Procedure
- To drive company vehicles with care and adhere to the company Driving Standards Policy.
- To deliver and collect vehicles to customers specified requirements and inform customers of all relevant information regarding vehicle handover and termination.
- To complete fleet checks in order to protect and monitor company assets.
- To ensure effective damage reporting to minimise unnecessary repair costs.
- To ensure that maintenance levels are adhered to and monitored regularly.
- To ensure effective monitoring of the Pre-Hire and Return Condition Report
- To identify potential contract hire, spot hire clients to maximise business opportunities.
- Identify personal training and development needs to keep abreast of current legislation in the Rental / Commercial Vehicle Market
- Liaise with Rental Manager to achieve necessary vehicle levels to maximise business opportunities.
- To liaise with internal departments where appropriate.
- Any other reasonable duty as requested by Senior Management
Qualifications
- Commercial vehicle Hire experience preferable.
- Demonstrate strong communications skills.
- Exhibit practical knowledge of computerised systems.
- Be a strong team player who is motivated by variety and responsibility.
- Full UK Driving Licence
