What This Role Looks Like
This Physical Therapist position is built around practical patient care. You will evaluate patients, build care plans, guide treatment sessions, and help people work toward better movement in their daily lives.
The clinic mainly treats orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, with patients ranging from 11 to 90 years old. Some patients may be recovering after surgery or injury. Others may be working through pain, weakness, stiffness, balance issues, or reduced mobility.
This is a strong fit for a PT who enjoys patient education, clinical problem-solving, and seeing steady progress over time.
Clinic at a Glance
- Modern outpatient orthopedic setting
- 7–15 patients per day
- Around 160–190 total patient visits each week
- Team includes 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- WebPT EMR system
- Primary caseload includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

Schedule Options
Preferred Option: Four 10-Hour Days
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Alternative Option: Monday–Friday
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Complete patient evaluations and reassessments
- Develop physical therapy plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
- Provide treatment for pain, injury recovery, mobility limitations, weakness, and post-surgical needs
- Lead patients through strengthening, stretching, balance, mobility, and functional movement work
- Use manual therapy and other appropriate interventions within scope of practice
- Teach home exercise programs and safe activity progression
- Track outcomes and adjust plans of care when needed
- Complete timely documentation through WebPT
- Coordinate with PTAs and the clinical team as needed
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable treating patients across different ages and activity levels
