About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time role in a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Kansas City, Missouri. This position focuses on helping patients improve strength, mobility, balance, movement quality, and daily function.
You will work with patients across a wide age range, from adolescents to older adults, treating primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. This role offers a steady patient volume, a team-based clinic environment, and schedule options that support both patient care and work-life balance.

Preferred Work Schedule Options
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinic Information
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
- Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify physical therapy needs
- Create individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, goals, and function
- Treat orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical needs, and mobility concerns
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance training, mobility work, and functional rehab
- Monitor progress and update care plans when appropriate
- Educate patients on home exercises, recovery expectations, and safe movement strategies
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress updates in WebPT
- Work with PTAs and clinical team members to support consistent care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable treating patients across different ages and activity levels
