Why We Exist
The events industry is hundreds of billions of dollars and almost entirely offline. We've spent a decade earning the trust of the buyers — Fortune 500 enterprises, top travel partners, thousands of high-intent planners. Now we go to the venues with that demand in hand and build the monetization layer the category has been waiting for.
The Role
You'll own the Venue Monetization Business end-to-end: full P&L, full stack (product, eng, demand gen, outreach, conversion, marketing, sales), full team. You'll have resources on your team and direct say over staffing, hires, and AI augmentation.
Your job is to convert Bizly and Bonfiire demand into tens of thousands of claimed listings and thousands of paid venues.
You're also the IC for GTM and venue sales. You write the outreach, work the pipeline, and close venues personally. You don't hand GTM to a marketer or sales to a rep — you run both.
We're hiring a wartime operator. Our bet: a small team plus well-designed agent loops outperforms traditional ops orgs many times their size. Headcount scales with revenue, not workload.
What You'll Own
The P&L. Subscription and ad revenue, claim and upgrade conversion, retention.
GTM and Sales. Initially, your individual contributor focus will be on GTM and sales, including designing the system, running campaigns, and speaking with venues to close.
The team. Lead the pod, hire, decide what humans do and what agents do.
The full stack. Product, marketing, demand gen, outreach, conversion, sales — orchestrated inside the business.
The funnel. Get venues to claim, get claimed venues to build out their package, get them to upgrade and stay upgraded.
The agent loops. Design and ship the loops that run venue outreach, claim activation, package coaching, upgrade nurture, and churn recovery.

Who You Are
Values. You want to take a big swing — turning a category of small businesses into a thriving network and building real revenue on the back of it. You're hard-working, creative, curious, and ethical.
Abilities. You think like an owner and operate like a builder. You can run a P&L, sit in a product review, write the venue outreach, close the upgrade, and ship an agent in the same week. You stay close enough to the work to know what's actually converting and why.
Skills. You've run a marketplace or self-serve monetization business where the buck stopped with you. You know how to take warm inbound demand and convert it through a funnel at scale. You've personally shipped agent workflows in production and can walk us through one you designed, what it replaced, and what it unlocked.

Logistics
5 days/week in Palo Alto. OPT support available; not sponsoring H1B.
