Job Description

Key Responsibility of Financial Accountant is to execute day to day accounting tasks under guidance 
and supervision of senior team members (Financial Controller, Senior Accountants) 

Key Tasks :  
• Responsible for supporting the transactional components of the Record to Report process; preparing journal entries and providing supporting documents as needed; overseeing P&L and balance sheet accounts; and performing reconciliation of various data
• Assisting to carry out the general ledger close, prepare monthly reconciliations to verify that  e.g. the balances recorded in the general ledger as intercompany receivables are accurately recorded, and identify and resolve intercompany accounting disputes
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliation  
• Responsible for named internal controls 
• Documenting work-instructions 
• Providing accurate and in-time financial reporting 
• Other work-related duties may be assigned by management 
• Follows the requirements of the GDPR regulation tasks in daily work 

Customers and / or Interest Groups Cooperation Partners and Networks 
• Group Reporting, Tax Department and Treasury 
• Business Controllers 
• Local Financial Controllers 
• FSSC 
• Legal entity management 

Qualifications

Requirements:

• University degree or economical school degree with a preference in Accounting 
• 2+ years of professional work experience in a Finance or Accounting function, preferably in large multinational company 
• Basic knowledge of IFRS standards 
• Fluent in written and spoken English  
• Local/regional languages based on the group companies a plus 

Skills required 
• Proficiency with SAP, OneStream, Excel, Word and Power Point desired 
• A team player, highly ambitious, proactive, flexible, and energetic  
• Good analytical thinking, problem solving and communicating skills 
• Ability to follow harmonized and effective accounting processes 
• Documentation of processes and work instructions
