Senior Manager, Clinical Content Creation Strategy & Deployment HEOR 

 

The Senior Manager of Clinical Content Creation Strategy & Deployment for Field HEOR plays a critical role in developing, managing, and operationalizing high‑quality HEOR content that supports payer, provider, and policy decision-making across Bayer’s portfolio. This role leads the creation and maintenance of evidence‑based materials for the Field HEOR team, ensures scientific and regulatory compliance, and partners closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, C3C, and Veeva submission teams to enable timely and efficient field deployment.

 

The Senior Manager enhances the operational excellence and visibility of the Field HEOR function by driving content development, process optimization, infrastructure management, and cross‑functional coordination.

 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager, Clinical Content Creation Strategy & Deployment HEOR, are to:

 

Field HEOR Content Strategy & Development

 

  • Serve as the primary developer and manager of Field HEOR content across therapeutic areas, including Women’s Health Care, Cardiovascular & Renal, Oncology, and Specialty/Pipeline.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end creation, refinement, and updating of Field HEOR materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Bayer’s strategic and scientific direction.
  • Develop compliant, fair‑balanced HEOR content in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, including accurate citation sourcing and alignment with Veeva PRT submission requirements.
  • Create and maintain a broad suite of Field HEOR assets, including:
    • Payer Information Exchange (PIE) decks
    • Payer Value Propositions (PVPs)
    • Total cost of care analyses
    • Budget Impact Model (BIM) decks
    • Clinical pathway submissions
    • Prior authorization review requests
    • Medicaid testimony scripts
    • Specialty stakeholder and policy meeting scripts
  • Ensure all materials meet scientific accuracy, compliance standards, and field relevance to support timely and effective deployment.

 

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Project Coordination

 

  • Collaborate with C3C and external vendors to manage content projects from concept through delivery, including coordination with medical writers and creative teams.
  • Serve as a key partner to Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory stakeholders to ensure aligned messaging and coordinated review cycles.
  • Work closely with the Veeva PRT submission team to navigate review processes, incorporate feedback, and facilitate timely approvals.
  • Maintain clear communication, tracking, and coordination across cross‑functional workstreams to support efficient execution and on‑time deliverables.

 

Strategic Operations & Team Enablement

 

  • Support Field HEOR leadership in developing foundational team infrastructure, operational processes, and communication tools that enhance team performance.
  • Maintain the Field HEOR mission, vision, and ways‑of‑working framework to align team activities and reinforce operating principles.
  • Manage Field HEOR branding and team identity, ensuring alignment with Bayer brand standards.
  • Maintain the centralized Field HEOR SharePoint site to ensure accessible, up‑to‑date visibility into team resources and deliverables.
  • Lead development and distribution of the recurring Field HEOR newsletter to communicate progress, priorities, and updates across the U.S. Market Access organization.
  • Manage a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel to streamline internal communication and collaboration.

 

Metrics, Insights & Reporting

 

  • Collaborate with Veeva Insights and Interaction teams to support the development of tools that track Field HEOR activities and content utilization.
  • Review and summarize key engagement metrics to support leadership reporting, internal presentations, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs to strengthen Field HEOR visibility and credibility.

 

Impact

 

The Sr. Manager, Clinical Content Creation Strategy & Deployment, is essential to ensuring the consistency, quality, and effectiveness of Field HEOR evidence delivery. Through content leadership, operational support, and cross‑functional coordination, this role enhances the credibility of Field HEOR with external decision makers and strengthens Bayer’s ability to communicate value across therapeutic areas.

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Advanced degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D.) with additional training or certification in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR);
  • Experience in HEOR, Market Access, Medical Communications, or related scientific content development within the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Strong understanding of health‑economic principles, payer decision-making, and evidence communication requirements;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high‑quality scientific content with accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment;
  • Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently while navigating complex matrix environments;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with Veeva or comparable review systems.

 

 

 

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $142,000 to $213,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
