The tasks in procurement are as diverse as they are essential to success.
You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Handles responsibly all relevant purchasing processes for the battery housing in a complex and global environment
- Develops, coordinates and implements the category strategy
- Drives the optimization of the supplier panel to make sure that the panel is continuously updated and fits for all Business unit battery systems and monitors market developments to derive the right conclusions and actions
- Handles responsibly relevant purchasing processes in a complex and global environment and creates additional value to the organization by using intelligent sourcing methods and tactics such as global bundles, slot sourcing, auctions or others
- Continuous improvement of commercial conditions to ensure competitive pricing (negotiations, global bundling, costing and VA/VE projects, etc.)

- Technical university’s degree or degree in business science and relevant professional experience in the area of category purchasing in an international acting company, ideally in the Automotive industry
- Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Confident appearance on all hierarchical levels
- Strategic, conceptual and analytical skills, interdisciplinary, entrepreneurial and customer-oriented thinking and acting
