Core-Warranty

Jackson Group Peterbilt is seeking a full-time Parts Warranty and Core Specialist. This position is responsible for the administration, processing, and tracking of all warranty claims for our parts department. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. This is important as you would be managing the returning, tagging, and shipping of core parts to vendors.

 

Responsibilities

· Identify, tag, and organize all warrantable failed parts

· Review, prepare, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers promptly to ensure maximum revenue recovery

· Coordinate the return of core parts to vendors/manufacturers

· Ensure all warranty documents are legible, accurate, and comply with manufacturer guidelines to prevent claim rejections

· Monitor and reconcile warranty payments with ledger entries monthly; investigate and resubmit rejected claims.

· Package, tag, and ship parts as requested

· Work with the service team to gather all required information for claims

Qualifications

· Ability to adapt to different people, situations, and changing priorities with grace and flexibility

· Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to multitask

· This role may require lifting, loading, and moving heavy truck parts up to 75 lbs

· 1–3 years of experience in a dealership parts department, warranty administration, or heavy-duty diesel repair environment

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Experience in Microsoft Office
