Project Overview

North Point Technology is supporting Dana Incorporated on a multi year ERP Optimization and Stabilization initiative across manufacturing plants and corporate finance systems. This is a live production environment. The focus is improving data quality, integrations, and system performance, not a greenfield implementation.

We are looking for a mid level SAP Data Migration Consultant with hands on experience in manufacturing ERP environments.

Role Purpose

Support SAP data migration activities including extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and load execution across functional modules.

You will work closely with functional consultants, ABAP developers, and plant stakeholders to ensure clean and accurate data movement during migration cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute data extraction and preparation activities
• Perform data mapping and transformation logic
• Cleanse and validate business data with plant stakeholders
• Support mock loads and migration cycles
• Assist with cutover execution activities
• Perform reconciliation and post load validation
• Work with ABAP team on LSMW, BAPI, BDC, IDoc based loads
• Identify data quality issues and escalate risks early
• Support testing cycles including integration validation

Required Experience

• 4 to 8 years of SAP experience
• 2+ years focused on SAP data migration
• Hands on experience with SAP ECC or S4HANA
• Experience using LSMW, BAPI, BDC, IDocs, or similar migration tools
• Experience working in manufacturing environments
• Strong Excel skills and data handling capability
• Comfortable working remote with US based teams

Preferred

• Experience in automotive manufacturing
• Exposure to FI, CO, MM, SD, or PP modules
• Experience supporting optimization or stabilization programs

Work Structure

• Remote from India
• Must overlap at least 3 hours with US Eastern Time
• Contract role
