Job Description:
The Title Coordinator will support a fast-paced program overseeing the expedited acquisition and processing of land parcels. This role is responsible for coordinating title research, resolving title issues, and ensuring accurate, compliant documentation to support timely land access and construction activities.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and track title research and title commitments for multiple land parcels simultaneously.
Work closely with external partners to clear exceptions to title and obtain title policies.
Perform and consistently update data entry into firm and client systems.
Liaise with title companies, surveyors, attorneys and internal acquisitions teams.
Maintain organized records and tracking logs for all parcels
Ensure all title documentation complies with federal, state and local regulations.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in real estate title, land records, escrow, right of way or title coordination and a Bachelors Degree or 9 years of work experience in lieu of Degree
Ability to manage high volumes of parcels under tight deadlines.
Working knowledge of Title commitments
Superb organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent customer service skills including professional conduct in communicating with attorneys, co-workers, and clients.
Decisive judgment with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Attention to detail, including recognizing title defects and formulating curative solutions.
Ability to work in a challenging environment and 'think on your feet'.
Preferred Qualifications
Notaries or candidates willing to become a notary preferred.
Experience supporting government or federally funded infrastructure projects
Familiarity with large-scale land acquisition programs
Understanding of Right of Way or eminent domain processes
