The HR Generalist plays a dual role across HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition. Acting as a strategic advisor to managers and a recruitment partner, this role ensures we attract, hire, develop, and retain high-performing talent aligned with business priorities.

This is a professional-level HR role requiring full-cycle recruitment expertise and experience partnering with managers on workforce planning and organisational effectiveness. The position contributes to people strategy, performance enablement, and employee engagement across the UK and wider EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for professional and technical roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, competencies, and workforce plans
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies across UK and EU markets
  • Ensure recruitment processes are inclusive and aligned with best practice
  • Manage agency relationships and recruitment budgets
2. HR Business Partnering
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters, performance conversations, and people development
  • Support managers with organisational design, restructuring, and change initiatives
  • Partner with leaders to drive employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Analyse HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, engagement data) to inform decision-making
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee onboarding and probation processes
  • Support learning and development initiatives
  • Facilitate performance review cycles
  • Contribute to succession planning discussions
4. Governance & Process Excellence
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and policies
  • Support audit and governance requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR and/or Talent Acquisition roles
  • Experience operating in a business partnering capacity
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment independently
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working in a matrix or international organisation
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of at least one additional EU language (e.g., German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch) is a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting multi-country EMEA populations
  • Experience in technology or SaaS environment
  • Data-driven mindset with HR analytics exposure
