About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering data‑driven insights and recommendations across the VIC portfolio. You’ll play a key part in strengthening financial governance, improving processes, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

The role is permanent full time based at our Mitcham office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Business Partner to provide decision support from a commercial and risk perspective within an appropriate time frame

  • Monitor The Salvation Army’s regulatory and compliance protection where applicable

  • Facilitate effective communication so that a Finance data-based approach is developed that sustains and continuously improves mission outcomes

  • Provide guidance and leadership to other analysts in the function

 

About You

You’re analytical, curious and confident working with financial data. You enjoy turning numbers into meaningful insights, influencing stakeholders, and improving processes. You also bring:

 

  • A degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar (CPA/CA desirable).

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with sound financial modelling or spreadsheet skills.

  • Experience supporting managers and budget owners with financial insights.
