Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR intern to join our Human Resources. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with key HR functions, including process documentation, job description audits, HRIS data management, and employee training. You will collaborate closely with HR professionals and department managers to enhance HR processes and contribute to the overall success of our team.
This is an onsite position at our Plymouth, MN location. Interns are responsible for arranging their own housing and transportation for the summer internship program.
This position reports to the HR Manager.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:
- Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $21.50 - $27.50
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with HR team members to update and enhance training materials in BOLT, reflecting the new user interface and ensuring clarity for employees.
- Help coordinate logistics, communication, and onsite support for our HR presence at STEM Day, representing the company at a community engagement event.
- Help with coordination of Internship Events.
- Assist with HRIS data auditing and ensure system accuracy and completeness.
- Take on additional HR projects as they arise, offering opportunities to explore different areas of the HR function.

Required
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A background in HR-related coursework is helpful.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail to effectively understand and document processes, write/update job descriptions, and ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to stay organized and manage time on multiple projects to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive employee data and HR processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR team members, managers, and other employees.
Preferred
- Basic understanding of general HR concepts, such as talent acquisition, performance management, training, and job descriptions.
- Familiarity with HR software such as UKG Pro or other data management systems is helpful.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel, OneNote and OneDrive.
