Big ID Developer

Summary
We are looking for a BigID SME Consultant to lead end-to-end deployments, upgrades, and integrations of the BigID platform. This role requires strong hands-on experience with BigID and the ability to work to ensure successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead BigID deployments and upgrades across on-prem and cloud environments
- Implement and configure BigID to discover, classify, and catalog data across structured and unstructured data sources.
- Implement and optimize data discovery workflows using BigID's configuration tools, APIs, and scripting capabilities for scalability and performance.
- Develop and manage custom metadata enrichment rules to improve data context, tagging, and governance.
- Work closely with data governance, privacy, and security teams to align BigID solutions with business compliance frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BigID platform performance, data ingestion, classification accuracy, and connector reliability.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior team members on BigID best practices, scripting, and API usage.
- Develop and customize BigID scans, connectors, and metadata ingestion.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
Eligibility Requirements
- Looking for 5+ years of IT Development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with BigID and data governance/privacy tools
- Strong knowledge of APIs, Linux, scripting (Python/Shell), and cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience in a Professional Services or consulting role
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $100K - $120K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
