Areas of responsibilities
Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, supporting career growth and performance evaluation.
Represent the finance team in stakeholder discussions, ensuring alignment of business priorities with team contributions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting as per the agreed deadlines and KPIs
Work together with related parties to ensure correct revenue and cost recognition and balance sheet positions at each month end close are achieved
Ensure P&L and BS analysis of positions and provide valuable insights on deviations
Recommend process improvements to create greater efficiency and productivity
Provides support and coordination in yearly or ad hoc audits (internal or external auditors)
Act as a key point of contact for senior management, business units, and external stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to foster a strong culture within the finance team and the company.
Establishing and maintaining good relationships with company leaders and colleagues from other Ayvens entities
Facilitate effective communication between the finance team and business partners to enable informed decision-making.
Manage hiring and the onboarding of new people in accordance with necessary skills within the team.
Organize, manage, and review the activities performed by the team to achieve the company’s objectives
Promote cross-functional collaboration to leverage diverse expertise
Expand team’s functional knowledge and developing business understanding
Effectively manage internal knowledge sharing and back-up structure for robust cross geographical business continuity
Job requirements
Master’s and bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics.
7+ years of experience in finance/people management roles, with a focus on accounting / reporting filed
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends to provide actionable insights
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Acca certification is a plus
Fluent in English written and spoken
Super user in with MS Excel and PowerPoint with strong financial modelling skills
