About the role: As a Group Treasury Quantitative Analyst, you will gain deep insights into liquidity transformation and how it shapes SEB's balance sheet structure. You'll join Balance Sheet Management (BSM) to quantify Balance Sheet Risks and make projections to fund SEB Group for the best risk vs. reward. This involves building models for structural market and liquidity risks from deposits taking activities. You will explore financial data, make balance projections, and drive improvement initiatives within Liquidity Risk management and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB).
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- At least 10 years of experience in a relevant quantitative finance or treasury position.
- An advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) in statistics, mathematical finance, or a similar field, or equivalent skills acquired through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex models and perform exceptionally well in data-intensive and intricate environments.
- A strong analytical mindset and professional fluency in English, both written and oral.
- A dedicated team player with a profound curiosity for how banks function and operate.
