GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Perform highly complex (senior-level) administrative and supervisory program work for the Texas Highway Patrol Safety Operations Center (HSOC). Work involves establishing program goals and objectives; developing program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals; monitoring and evaluating program activities; developing and evaluating budget requests; and coordinating program activities. Responsible for oversight and review of complex geospatial projects as part of the geographic information systems (GIS) team within the DPS’ Highway Safety Operations Center. Plan, assign, and supervise the work of others. Work under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
