Your New Role: Junior Video Editor
You’ll edit video content across Global and its radio brands. Based in Leicester Square, you’ll create fast, high-quality edits for social, with occasional support on studio-recorded content.
As a Junior Video Editor at Global, you’ll deliver accurate, on-brand edits by following team workflows from ingest to delivery and archiving. You’ll be guided day-to-day by senior members of the Internal Video team.
Key Responsibilities
• Editing (80%): Edit short-form, social-first videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more. Supporting the brands with their editorial content needs.
• Studio and filming support (20%): Assist with studio recording workflows, capturing green screen and radio studio content, and supporting on-location shoots.

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you’ll have:
Embedded into the team’s edit workflows, delivering consistent, high-quality social edits for Global’s brands.
Learned the teams ingest, storage and archive process.
Trained to support studio-recorded workflows and helped turn recordings into finished social edits.
Increased your editing speed, confidence and attention to detail.
What You’ll Need
Software skills: Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (other Creative Cloud apps like After effects and photoshop a bonus).
Captions & versioning: Comfortable producing accurate subtitles and delivering quick versioning across various formats.
Audio basics: Basic audio clean-up/levelling skills and good judgement selecting music/SFX from approved libraries.
Studio/filming (bonus): Camera, filming and studio experience a bonus (or a genuine interest in learning).
Speed & feedback: Able to work quickly to deadlines; takes feedback well and learns fast.
Team working: Friendly, professional and comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders.
Flexibility: Willing to occasionally work evenings/weekends around events when required.
