Job Overview:

Under direction of Construction Manager, provide support to soil excavation activities (loading trucks and stockpile soil, then backfill and site restoration including placing and compacting soils, culverts, water lines, roadway and revegetation)

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Use of hand tools
• Ability to work in team environment in safe and productive manner
• Install erosion control measures
• Clear vegetation
• Perform site restoration

Basic Qualifications:

• Civil Construction and or environmental work experience
• MUST LIVE LOCAL TO HUNTSVILLE, AL (within daily commute)
• No Felonies
• Clean driving record with valid license
• Dependable transportation and cell phone
• Able to pass drug screen and physical
• OSHA HAZWOPER Preferred

Schedule:

• 10hrs/day, 5 days/wk

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $18.50 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
