The Opportunity
In this role, you will lead a field based Technical Team to effectively deliver, maintain & continuously improve Facilities Management services.
Work closely with your team to build strong relationships with our partner and provide exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will be based in North QLD region - Cairns/Townsville.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Oversee the technical team to monitor the delivery of planned preventative maintenance.
• Identify and address compliance incidents and complete comprehensive reporting.
• Conduct ongoing field inspections and scheduled site audits annually.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Working closely with your technical team and the wider City business.
• Ensure your team meet all legislative, regulatory and industry standards.
• Liaise with contractors, provide support, and assist in hand over and signoff of works.
• Maintain availability 24/7 to provide telephone support and attend critical situations as required.
To be considered for this role:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in retail maintenance.
• Trade qualification or similar – preferred.
• Technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, heating, cooling and plumbing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, organisational and administrative skills
• Available on call, and to attend critical incidents after hours.
• Current Driver's licence.
