Marketplace Operations Representatives are the heartbeat of Unison Marketplace, playing a vital role across our Sourcing, Marketplace Support, Marketplace Assurance, and VAO Customer Care teams. We are seeking talented, self-motivated individuals to join our growing organization in either the Sourcing or VAO Customer Care departments.

 

Sourcing Representative

As a Sourcing Representative, you will help drive the success and growth of the Marketplace. In this role, you will partner with our vendor community to ensure they can effectively navigate the platform and compete for federal contracting opportunities.

 

Responsibilities include conducting market research to identify qualified vendors, performing phone and email outreach to gather required industry feedback, and work closely with internal teams. The ideal candidate has entry-level experience in customer support or a related field, demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, and can proactively identify client needs while proposing thoughtful, effective solutions.

 

VAO Customer Care Representative

As a Customer Care Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for our VAO customers, ensuring questions and issues are triaged, addressed, and resolved in a timely and professional manner. You will work directly with end users to understand their objectives, troubleshoot challenges, and deliver clear, actionable guidance.

 

Responsibilities include providing phone and email support, documenting and tracking issues, and collaborating with development teams to resolve technical concerns. The ideal candidate enjoys functional problem-solving, communicates clearly and confidently, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a dashboard of Buys available for bid on the marketplace
  • Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers for government contracts
  • Educating customers as they use the marketplace
  • Troubleshooting user difficulties via phone and email
  • Obtaining and documenting customer feedback
  • Building external client relationships and coordinating with internal teams  

Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering quality customer service in a high-volume environment
  • Interest in e-commerce, procurement, government industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, initiative and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
