Job Description Summary

Customer facing staff responsible for winning Critical Infrastructure communication business. Operate with some autonomy with in framework of organization policies Commercial and responsible for meeting Operating Plan (Order booking, margin, Down payment and compliance requirements). Responsible for India sub region(India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of CIC (Critical Infrastructure communication) Telecom (PLCC(Power line carrier communication), Tele protection, Fote (Fiber optic telecom equipment) Mpls-Tp/SDH) to external customers and other GE businesses
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Domain knowledge in Automation and Telecom and knowledge of market (Technology, End user requirement, EPC's, Regulatory requirements) and competition products.
  • Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses Commercial & technical acumen and analytical thinking to create differentiation wrt competition.
  • Ability to adapt in Hybrid Organization and managing conflicting interests of stake holders (Region Sales, Projects, Tendering, Customer)
  • These sales jobs will mainly be individual contributors.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires Minimum 15 years of advanced experience in the Sales and presales. Engineering Degree and Electrical, Electronics, Computers, Communication. MBA in marketing is not mandatory but preferable.
  • Relevant experience in Telecom technology, pre-sales/sales.
