As a Marketing Specialist, you will help bring Wesco’s technologies, solutions, and expertise to market, supporting initiatives that advance the development and modernization of critical infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate across sales enablement, partner marketing, campaigns, and events by coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and helping ensure approved marketing assets and initiatives are delivered accurately and on schedule. You will collaborate cross‑functionally with sales teams, other marketing segments within Wesco, strategic suppliers, associations, and media partners to support day‑to‑day marketing activities. This role plays an important part in helping bring marketing initiatives to life by working closely with marketing leadership and cross‑functional partners to ensure plans are delivered efficiently and consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery of marketing initiatives and program activities that promote Wesco’s technologies, solutions, and services.
- Day‑to‑day coordination of marketing activities with the marketing team and related initiatives.
- Coordinate sales collateral and early‑stage enablement assets to help support sales and customer engagement across solution areas.
- Partner with marketing leadership and cross‑functional teams to facilitate timelines, track deliverables, and help bring approved marketing initiatives to life.
- Support partner and supplier marketing initiatives by coordinating activities, aligning deliverables, and assisting with forums, trainings, and co‑marketing efforts.
- Help facilitate regional and national events by coordinating materials, logistics, and follow‑up activities in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Work cross‑functionally with sales teams, other marketing segments within Wesco, and external partners to support alignment and integration of technologies across campaigns, events, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and organize marketing resources, tools, and documentation to support effective collaboration and program delivery.
- Assist with research, performance insights, and coordination efforts that support alignment and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a strong One Wesco, One Team culture by working collaboratively across business units and supporting shared goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
- 1 to 3 years required, 5 years preferred of product or field marketing experience, preferably in Fortune 500 company.
- 3 years of experience preferred in strategic business planning.
- Marketing strategy and implementation, including a working knowledge of multi-channel marketing.
- Strong mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and at least basic- to intermediate-level HTML skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to spot questionable information or unusual data trends, combined with a disciplined problem-solving process that applies conceptual thinking to identify root cause(s) and provide appropriate solution(s).
- Highly organized and detail oriented, with a customer-centric focus and commitment to quality.
- Able to spot new and evaluate existing business opportunities, including the ability to ask good questions, look beyond the obvious, and see the “big picture.”
- Strong creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and entrepreneurial drive; able to work with autonomy and self-direction.
- Able to influence others through effective negotiation techniques and strong interpersonal skills, meet deadlines, and deliver results.

- Demonstrates high levels of integrity and ethics that allow for high levels of intra- and inter-departmental trust.
- Knowledge of industry, including suppliers, customers, competition, trends and advances in eCommerce and digital marketing, and WESCO’s business lines, strengths and challenges is preferred.
- Able to travel is preferred.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
