Job Summary:
Ensure efficient daily operations of Financial Aid office, including responding to high-volume student inquiries via phone and email. Assist with the administration of financial aid to ensure compliance with federal, state, institutional, and private aid regulations through review of reports and assistance provided to staff. Support the financial aid
portion of analysis in identification, review, and resolution of potential identity fraud, and conflicting information to protect students and the institution while ensuring appropriate aid eligibility. Assist the Director of Financial Aid Technology and Compliance with the Return of Title IV Funds process, federal reporting, consortium agreements, and
the development of training materials. Collaborate with financial aid staff and campus partners to provide clear and consistent communication to students. Maintain a high degree of professionalism, integrity, ethics, confidentiality, and accuracy in decision-making.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with demonstrated relevant work experience, or Associate’s Degree with significant relevant work experience
Demonstrated customer service experience
Demonstrated experience using computer applications and office software (i.e., MS Office Suite, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated financial aid or other heavily regulated industry experience.
Demonstrated direct customer service experience.
Experience working with financial aid technology that is part of an institution-wide ERP system.
